Force 5 Mid-Atlantic Championships - June 5-6

Despite a disappointing turnout (partly due to injuries) we had a sensational couple of race days.  Our outstanding race committee set good courses, led by Guido, made adjustments as needed, conducted rescues often and even retrieved my favorite visor.

After the first three races, we had what looked like a very close regatta. The first three races left the leaders at 5, 6, and 7 points.  After 4 races the leaders had 8, 8 and 9 points.  In race five, the winner, Peter Young took charge and ran off three bullets.

The wind blew!  And it shifted!  Very exciting stuff.  The final race featured numerous capsizes.
