12th Annual Regatta
May 15-16, 2010
On behalf of the Lake Yosemite Sailing Association, we would like to invite you to the LYSA 12th Annual Regatta. This two-day event will consist of three or more races on Saturday and two on Sunday. There will be a Skippers meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and the start of the first race will be determined by the race committee based on conditions. Trophies will be presented on Sunday after the last race.
The scoring will be the low point system. All races will be sailed under current U.S. Sailing Rules. This Regatta will be open but not limited to the following:

Pre-registration deadline is Friday, April 30th, 2010. Skippers may also register on Saturday, the May 15th beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the registration table. Course sheets and sailing instructions will also be provided in the race packet at the registration table.
You may camp in your RV at the club or set up a tent on the Clubhouse lawn. No hookups are available. Security will be provided on Friday and Saturday nights for boats and trailers in the parking lot. A list of motels is available upon request. Sorry, but pets are not allowed in the park.
Dinner is scheduled for Saturday evening at the Clubhouse. Dinner tickets can be purchased with your pre-registration or at the registration table on Saturday. We strongly encourage pre-registration and it would be greatly appreciated. A Saturday lunch will also be available. Trophies will be based on how many pre-entries we get, and it will make it easier on our kitchen crew.

Please enter my boat in the Lake Yosemite Regatta. In consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I hereby agree as follows:
1. I agree to comply with all rules and sailing instruction governing the race.
2. I hereby release Lake Yosemite Sailing Association, its officers, agents, or committee members from any and all liability from any injury to myself or my boat, my crew or my boat arising out of your conduct of the Regatta or use of facilities, to the extent that such release does not discharge my insurance carrier under the provisions of the insurance policies on my boat.
3. I assume any risk or injury arising out of my participation in the Regatta, failure or breakage of my boat or any of its equipment, or weather condition.
4. I own or have chartered the boat entered.
