2019 North Americans are here!

Hi everyone!

The 2019 North Americans are here.  It's gonna be a great event.  The weather reports are really good at this point, the grounds are very close to ready (need to mulch down the grass clumps), Kim has the food underway, Marty is ready to conduct some great racing, Jason no doubt is buying beer (and drinking it while he finishes up the SI's) as we speak, and I'll be framing some great hand-made trophies a little later this morning.  Our fleet is looking forward to having all of you.

There's still time to plan on coming if you haven't done so.  Let Marty know ASAP so plans can be made accordingly.  There's still time to get here from anywhere in the country!   smile

Also, please read Marty's post in this forum under "2019 North Americans".  I'll also summarize:
Our grounds are quite wet from the seemingly never-ending rain we've had this spring.  You won't be able to drive your car to your favorite camping site on the grounds.  There's a nifty beach cart available to haul your stuff to where it needs to go.  Park your car behind the clubhouse in the parking lot.

Fleet 105-ers will be out there to show you first-timers where to go.  We can give good advise on great places to eat in Bloomington and Nashville.  There's always the legendary Port Hole up the street, but they're not open today (not sure about tomorrow).  Later in the week, they're open and they have ice, beer, and I believe carry out spirits, too.  And the Ultimate Catfish Sandwich!    smile

Looking forward to having all of you!  Well, off to the shop to finish up a boat job, frame trophies, prep a mold for a Y-Flyer part..... it noever stops!      tongue  cool
