2019 North Americans

HI all

Here's the list of registrants for the North Americans so far:

Tom Wille
Rob Kunzig
Jason Breeden
Philip Porte
Frank Lyons
Brian Hampton
Tony Garczynski
John Erhard
Fred Meno
Victor Goodman
Doug Kinzer
Rob Scala
Jim Davis
Eric D. Braysmith
Peter Anderson

I know there are more coming.  We encourage folks to register soon so we have a fairly accurate head count for planning.  Plus, we're just curious.  Encourage the rest of your fleets to come and join in the fun.  It'll be a great time!

Thanks,     Doug

I have registered early but not often. I can do that too if it will help. Cheers!

Looking forward to hearing from The sailors at North Cape, Berlin, more from Detroit, more from Michigan...and of course, more folks from out east!  C'mon out to Indiana!  It'll be a great regatta!    smile

Re: 2019 North Americans

Ahoy.  Just 24 days until the start of the first race.  Where else are you going to go this season where you get 3 great days of racing, 9 home cooked meals, free camping, a t shirt, free raffle and free beer for just $100.  Only here in Bloomington.

We really need to get our t shirt order in by Friday, so please register asap.  We really appreciate it.  Thanks.

Re: 2019 North Americans

Hey folks, I too am getting pretty excited about the upcoming NAs at Lake Lemon. And I also assumed that there would be more pre-registered this close to the event.  The suspense is driving me to post, unusual behavior for me smile.  Please don't make me drink all this beer by my self...  Oh wait, Brian is coming, I feel better... maybe I should get some more actually.

I won't beg... maybe a little?  Please register... have beer... have food... need sailors!

Hope to see you all soon.

Thanks,

Jason

Re: 2019 North Americans

And there are those among us who have spare boats for the asking.  So if not bringing your boat along and partying in a "rental" appeals to you, there's that option.  I've got a spare.  Other guys have 'em, too.   smile

Re: 2019 North Americans

That is a good point.  I have 2 boats available.  They are not the $500 variety so you won't have any excuses.  We have some pretty beat up boats too if you are looking for a little extra challenge wink

Have beer... have food... have boats... need sailors!

What else do you need?  Tents?  A ride from the airport?  Let us know and I am sure we can find some options!

Re: 2019 North Americans

Ahoy,

We are up to 24 boats registered with rumors of several others thinking about it, or just yet to register.

If you can, please register asap.  We are in the process of ordering t shirts and going to the grocery store for food, so now is the time to let us know you are coming.

Thanks,

Marty

Still sitting at 24 registered. Please register now if at all possible. You don't pay when you register, you will pay at the event.

Re: 2019 North Americans

Hi all

Bloomington Yacht Club is being prepped for the big event coming up in 9 days.  There are still some names conspicuously missing from the registration list.  It'll be a great event that you won't want to miss!

Looking forward to seeing all of you next week.

Re: 2019 North Americans

Hold on, didn't I recently read an email or something talking about how nowhere else can you get a shirt, 10 meals, three days of sailing and free beer for $100.?  Either way you can't go wrong and, if it is not free beer, I've never known anyone in this Class to not offer a beer to anyone with out one!  You guys are truely the Best.

Re: 2019 North Americans

Ahoy,

Right now we have 26 boats registered.  I am hoping several more are waiting to the last minute, maybe checking the weather?  There is plenty of food and fun if you can make it, so please join us.  I will be monitoring the sign up sheet to watch for any new registrations.

Other than that, we are ready to go.

For those familiar with BYC, we have some pretty wet grounds right now, so you can't drive down to your favorite camping spot.  As you drive in and pass the clubhouse, we will be unloading boats and equipment to the left.  There will be a beach cart available for moving your camping and boating gear where you need to take it.  Please park in the back parking lot.

Thanks,

Marty

Re: 2019 North Americans

Well there was no shortage of beer...
This was my first time at Lake Lemmon and like it has been said before - truely a good time - thanks one and all for all your efforts to make it so.
A big hand to the Kinzer Clan for the beautiful awards they produced, truely a work of art!
As always a pleasure to be amongst you all -
