Hello Chris, I did give him the website. His home club will probably be Bloomington Yacht Club. Cheers, Mark Oct-08-18 15:16:50

Karl, Unfortunately there seems to be little interest in having a newsletter. We currently don't have anyone willing to take on that role either. Sep-26-18 11:23:15

Talk abut a great event. We had 17 Force 5s on the starting line this weekend. Two days of perfect wind and the usual shifts to keep it interesting. Some of the closest racing of the year. Also, as usual the best party of the year! Sep-24-18 13:05:56

Man that looked cool right up to the point where the drone pilot lost track of those still racing, or flying away from the windward mark right when everyone was getting there. But, it shows such potential! I'm loving the fact that drones... Aug-15-18 17:00:37

Been wearing these for several years now on many a wet foredeck. I think they are my favorite boat shoe to date.....and I have tried several kinds. They are not perfect but, they dry quick, grip pretty well and are durable. Oh... and less... Aug-07-18 16:05:58

Thanks for the info dkinzer, I will digest it. The trunk will likely be a project for the end of the season. I have heard of the carpet trick but not sure of the implementation. I would appreciate instructions for that as well if and when you have... Jul-19-18 08:57:38

Think we need to better understand what was happening when you were out there. It shouldn't be tough to pull the sail in with the mainsheet. Maybe post some pictures of your rigging. Docks are no friend to a small sailboat like a Force 5. I... Jul-16-18 16:13:00

What Rob is looking at is just long enough to fit the Force 5 and with it being aluminum he will still only be a single axle and be able to tow it with his current vehicle. Jul-09-18 09:20:24

Brian, The Championship is for sailors who have placed in the top 5 in a major regatta. If you haven't you fall into the Challenger. This doesn't keep you from winning a top 5, it just means you will be eligible for the Challenger... May-08-18 04:20:49

This regatta was a lot of fun last year. Great sailing conditions. Sometimes pretty wild, but that's where the fun is found! :D Apr-17-18 06:20:59
